Beginning Again

I have decided to begin my blog again. I am not sure how I will do it this time...just pictures, just funny sayings from the kids, just complaining from me? Today is Monday and I usually try to accomplish everything I need to get done this week, today. It's a fabulous way to torture yourself if you would like to try it. I figure we will go to Costco, clean the floors, clean the bathroom, clean the backyard, weed the backyard, plant my seeds, teach Alex to write his own name, teach Markus to potty in the big boy potty, play in the sunshine, make a menu plan for the week, and get in some exercise. Maybe since I needed to use spell check to figure out how to spell exercise I should put that at the top of the list.

I am trying to stay positive today since Alex decided that he "didn't feel tired anymore" between 2am and 5am. Kids are a lot of work and I feel like if I could only sleep again I would be the most amazing mommy ever. Maybe I am not staying positive...I'll try positive again later, maybe after Costco.

Big Boy Undies!

Alex asked for his big boy undies this morning and he has been running around the house with just his undies on!! The only glitch is that he won't try to use the potty unless his bladder is completely full. See, the problem with this is I only have a very small window of time to get him to the bathroom. We are praying for no pee pee in the house. We've been watching Nemo this week and I have to admit it is such a great movie. P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way Sydney...so freaking funny. Phil has the day off today so we are looking forward to our 3 day weekend with Daddy!

It's only 9am and already...

my couch is now pink, blue, and green with chalk...my back door is green with marker...my blender has rice crispies in it...

One more thing...

I was just reminded of this funny thing Alex said last week. I was watching Jon Stewart and a picture of Obama flashed up on the screen. Alex screams, "There's Uncle Obama!"
I have to think it has something to do with his brown Uncle Manoj but some of my more lefty friends are praying it's his party affiliation coming out at a young age.

Some New Pictures of the Boys

Alex and Markus had a chance to go play in Daddy's office a couple of weeks ago.

Alex finds the funniest places to read. At least it was clean laundry in the basket. Markus has learned how to climb on top of things but still hasn't mastered the art of getting down.

This is how my brain works. After I posted my last blog I started singing in my head, "My blog is back and you're gonna be in trouble. Hey yah hey yah my blog is back!" Now it won't leave my head. TMI?

Back Again

Well, we've had another baby...okay, like a year ago. I guess I took a really, really long break from my crazy mommy mary blog but I am back! I have a feeling things will get a bit more interesting now that Alex can talk and now that his imagination is running wild. I have a few funny sayings from Alex from the last few months:
-He runs in with a nut, like a nut and bolt nut, and screams, "Mama, Ales found a Hexagon!"
-I rubbed some cream on his rash from the grass and he starts laughing and saying, "Mama, that's the right cream for the job!"
-"Gank You."
-The kids were both strapped in to their car seats and as I jumed into my seat Alex screamed, "Okay team! We are ready to go! We are a team!"
-Alex runs into our living room and says, "Wow! What a big room. It's palatial!"

Markus is just starting to talk. When Phil walks in the room he screams, "Hi Dada!" It's a little garbled but he says it the same way every time. He is almost ready to walk and I can't wait. Alex is getting excited for that day too.
